Hey everybody, it's Mike here from Making Digital Real. Massive thank you for tuning in, this is episode one, it is just a quick trailer just to explain who I am, what this podcast is, who it's for and why you should keep listening. If you are a business owner looking to elevate your game, get more clients using the power of podcasts, digital marketing and everything in between, this is the podcast series for you. Get ready to unlock the secrets of success and make digital real. So if we've not met before, hello, my name is Mike and for the last 10 years I have been helping people elevate their business and gain more clients using the power of digital marketing such as LinkedIn, podcasts, private podcasts, newsletters that grab attention and everything in between and that's exactly what we're going to be doing in this podcast series moving forward. My plan is to every week bring you a 7 to 10 minute long episode with a brilliant ninja tip of the week. Now that ninja tip can be anything on digital marketing, mainly looking at things like podcasting, private podcasts, way to grow your audience and your listeners, why people should be using the power of audio in their digital marketing strategies because that is what I'm all about, re-humanizing the way that you do your business marketing through the power of audio. I'm also a video guy as well but what I want to focus on with this series is really using the power of audio. I think we live in a world now where sitting in front of a zoom call or signing up to video classes or courses, nobody wants to be in front of a screen these days, not as much as we used to anyway. I think we're in a bit of a world where we've got fatigue when it comes to screens. I know for myself personally over the last few years I have moved away from sitting in front of a screen watching YouTube videos to being able to consume content when I'm out and about doing my own thing, exercising in the car, at the airport, on the plane, whatever it might be. Just being able to throw in some headphones and listen and consume good content that way works better for me and over the years as I've been speaking to more and more business owners I know that it works for them as well. Now I'm also going to be doing live strategy call sessions with clients and I'm going to be recording them and pushing them out as podcast episodes.
